What do you think of this idea for a television series?

Off the Map



The story of a world no longer seen and of the myths and legends of a growing country that inhabit it.

America is 233 years old and it has spread across a new land. Unprecedented in history, it has drawn it's population from all four corners of the world. From nearly every country on earth. And those populations have brought with them not only their cultures and their foods, but their myths and legends.

Their own particular angels and boogey men. Cast adrift from the lands that gave their lives meaning they needed to find different homes. Different homes in different towns. Towns in this new world. And they found these homes. In the abandoned towns cast aside by the waves of immigrants who brought them to this new land. The towns and even small cities that people forgot. Or were made to forget. And so there grew, over the years a second America with place of fairies and djinn. Of sprites and giants of succubi, vampires and werewolves. Of all the creatures who had come to this new world. And these towns were wrapped in mists and highway exits wrapped in illusion. And so it remained for many years until one man. A postal worker sorting through dead letters came upon an envelope. On the bottom of a stack of boxes. A very old envelope indeed. With a town he had never heard of, and a zip code that didn't exist with a name he could not pronounce. He would follow this letter to the edge of the highway, and there, he would discover an America that was
