I'm buying a navigator for my mom's b-day and i was looking for a good but not overpriced one, preferbly garwin, tom tom, or magilon, can u guys name a few u had that u liked alot an sum options the navigator had, im looking for american/canadian map, zip code search, an around a millinon point of interests, oh and a screen not less than 3.5Best Navigator on the current market?
I was researching myself, and it seems like Garmin has the highest user satisfaction. I have personally used Garmin and found that it was easy to use, and generally guides you to the right places (although it has taken me to runaround routes every now and then).
The TomTom does have a really nice function where it shows you the cheapest gas in the city, but i read that it often shows you law breaking u-turns and such.
The Magellan i hear is also nice, i just found it to be too bulky and complicated for my case, and some people have found trouble with buying maps for traveling, so that's definitely something to keep in mind.
It all depends on your moms preference, since you know her the best just go to the store and test all of them out, and see which one she would enjoy using the best
